Mestre Vladimir Frama

Mestre Vladimir Frama started training Capoeira in 1981, aged 12, with mestre Everaldo. He comes from the city of Fortaleza in the north-east of Brazil, rich in Brazilian culture, beautiful nature and beaches. As a passionate capoeirista he participated in many festivals all around Brazil: Sao Paulo, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso, Bahia, Piaui, Pernambuco and Ceara. He also studied photography and music academy and still performs as a guitarist both in Brazil and Europe. In 1995 he founded the Batuque Capoeira Group in the Netherlands. Under his guidance Batuque Capoeira has grown into a very active and professional capoeira group, with branches in Den Haag, Nijmegen, Arnhem, Breda, Den Bosch, Uden, Amersfoort and Amsterdam. Vladimir also participated in many capoeira festivals around Europe: England, Scotland, Belgium, France, Germany, Denmark and Sweden.
