Beste Capoeiristas (Uden e.o.),
helaas kunnen we morgen niet terecht in de zaal bij het Martial Arts Center. Ik heb geprobeerd een andere locatie te regelen maar dit is alleen gelukt van 20.00-22.00. Dat betekent dat de kinderles van 19.00-20.00 niet door kan gaan.
De les is in de gymzaal van basisschool de Tandem, bij het busstation (waar we op dinsdag trainen)!
Natuurlijk is iedereen welkom om te komen trainen van 20.00-22.00. Je kan eventueel ook een uurtje meedoen! Mocht het niet lukken dan kan je ook een kinderles meedoen in Oss op maandagavond van 18.30-19.30 (adres: Krakenburg 6, te Oss)!!!
Hopelijk zie ik de Batuque Kids morgen om 20.00!!! Anders tot volgende week!

Hello all Batuques!
Today we have our first New Years Event, and our first New Years Party!!
Here's some important information:
Workshop Location: HML, Nassau Bredastraat 5, Den Haag (the wednesday location..)
The workshops start at 13.00h, but we're there at 12.30h, so feel free to come earlier so we can start on time! We have capoeira and percussion workshops, so bring your training clothing and your instruments!
After the workshops: You can shower at the HML (seperate male / female changing rooms & showers) and we've arranged for food to be delivered from the good place where we get the food for the batizado, so you can also eat there :)
Party Location: 't Syndicaat, Nieuwe Molstraat 10, Den Haag (the monday location..)
After showering / eating at the HML we all head over to 't Syndicaat to get the party started. We'll have live music, capoeira demonstrations, maculele shows and samba shows, so bring you friends / family / others and start the new year with brazilian energy!!
Don't forget to bring your INSTRUMENTS for the percussion workshops!!
Don't forget to bring your TRAINING CLOTHES for the capoeira workshops!!
Don't forget to bring your PARTY CLOTHES for the New Years Party!!

Verminoso: Vakantie

morgen trainen we alleen in Nijmegen ivm Kerstavond. Daarna vakantie!!!
In Arnhem beginnen we weer op donderdag 5 januari.
In Nijmegen beginnen we weer op zaterdag 7 januari (dus kom donderdag naar arnhem!!!)
In Uden beginnen we op 10 januari en in Oss/Malden beginnen we weer als de school begint!

Batuque Fireworks NewYearsEve 2011 is getting in shape!
To celebrate the Old & New Year, Batuque Capoeira Holland is organising a day full of workshops and a night full of Brazilian music and partying in Den Haag!
The first program details and participants are already confirmed:
Workshops from 13-18 pm in HML gym, including:
- Capoeira (all levels)
- Maculelê
- Samba de Roda
- Music Workshop with Mestre da Percussão (percussion master) Sergio Bacalhau from Recife: special Pandeiro and Samba percussion lessons.

Hey all, I want to thank everybody for the kind words and the support everyone's shown me after the accident Sunday night. I'm going to have to take it easy for a while, lots of rest, but I'll still be traveling around, making music in random rodas :)
On the injury, there was no harm done to the eye itself, only to some of the muscles and soft tissue surrounding it. It's going to take a little bit of time, but it should all return to normal over time!! :)
